Your vehicle data belongs to you.
BoxerView stores logs and detected vehicle information on your device. The current beta does not automatically upload your VIN, ECU information, or diagnostic logs.
Data handled by the app
BoxerView may process your VIN, ECU and calibration identifiers, detected vehicle profile, adapter identity, live engine measurements, timestamps, validation results, CSV logs, and ECU fingerprint reports.
Stored on your device
Saved logs, detected vehicle information, dashboard preferences, and safety acknowledgments are stored locally. You may view, export, or delete saved logs inside BoxerView.
When data leaves your device
Data leaves your device only when you deliberately use an export or submission action and choose a destination. Participation in future community submissions will be optional.
How data may be used
Intentional submissions may help identify ECU variants, verify read-only definitions, diagnose defects, and improve compatibility. BoxerView does not sell personal information or use vehicle data for advertising.
TestFlight and Apple
Apple operates TestFlight and may process tester, device, installation, crash, and feedback information under Apple’s own policies.
